ongoing Artist Reconnections: Art as Meditation
Students will explore what initiates creative blocks and how you can engage your potential in using the tools of guided meditation, various prompts, practical techniques, creative visualization, and energy work. through Aug 1 Kickin' Up Our Heels
See a selection of exquisite antique bedcovers from the Sharee and Murray Newman Collection. The exhibit contains a wide variety of quilts, from graphic 1860s Amish pieces and fancy "best" quilts to scrappy country quilts and the cheerful patchwork of the 1930s. These remarkable quilts have been in a private collection and have never before been shown together in public.  Monday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  and Memorial Day through Labor Day Sundays 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.  $6.00 adults, $5.00 seniors, RMQM members free.  Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, 1213 Washington Avenue. Mark your calendar for live music at the Golden History Center's patio. Buy a sandwich and listen to live banjo and other fun bluegrass music, featuring local artist Warren Kennison, Jr.  Afterward, explore the new Show & Tell exhibit, and you'll get one dollar off admission.  12:00 to 1:00 p.m.  Free.  Golden History Center, 923 10th Street.
