Colorado Watercolor Society 21st Annual
State Exhibition
CWS 21st State Exhibition will encompass 80
innovative, remarkable paintings created in
watermedia of diverse and fascinating approaches.
Displayed throughout the unique gallery space of
Foothills Art Center, this exhibition promises to be
a remarkable opportunity for visitors to explore a
comprehensive presentation of today's leading
Colorado watercolor artists.
Open Daily: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. and Sunday, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
$5 Adults, $3 Seniors (65 and up). Free for members
and students. Opening Reception will be held Friday
March 2, 2012 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Dinosaur
Detectives Days -
Day 1
Come to the Dinosaur Ridge Visitor Center for a
fun-filled day of exploration! Children will learn
about geologic time and Colorado's changing
landscapes with a series of hands-on activities.
This half-day event will use the Dinosaur Ridge Van
to go to Red Rocks Park and up the hill on the Ridge
to study the layers of rock and see how life changed
over time.
Dinosaur Detective Days - Day 2
Come to the Dinosaur Ridge Visitor Center for a
fun-filled day of exploration! Children will explore
Morrison's paleontology with a series of hands-on
activities. This half-day event will use the
Dinosaur Ridge Van to go up the hill on the Ridge to
measure footprints, replicate behavior, and study
the fossil bones of Colorado's giant dinosaurs.
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Grades 3-6.
Registration ONLY. Please register by March
1st with Erin Fair at

for non-members, $10 for members. Two-Day Fee:

come to GHC to watch it happen live. 11:00

Jefferson Symphony Orchestra Concert
Blake Pouliot, 17-year-old Canadian violinist and
2012 winner of the JSO International Young Artists
Competition, will perform the Shostakovich Violin
Concerto No. 1 in A Minor. Blake's passionate
playing and technical precision are perfectly suited
for this exciting and unique concerto. The JSO will
also perform the Sibelius Symphony No. 6 considered
by many to be Sibelius' most beautiful and
underrated composition.
3:00 p.m. Ticket prices: Adult $22,
Senior $17, College Student $12, Student (13-17)
